We went to visit my sister in Minneapolis. It was great to see the kids again after about a year. I can't believe how big they are getting, 5, almost 7 and 8. I have to say they lead a very active life. They are great kids but it really made me realize that two is probably going to be enough of a handful for us!

Recently the Werbergs have gotten in touch with another long lost family member in Germany. He confirmed that Adolf was actually born Blauer and changed his name to Werberg which was the name of a nearby town. He sent this picture of Sam's great grandparents and their three sons. Sam's grandfather is the one in the middle.
My brother Neil just came to visit. It was nice to have someone see our life here in Kuwait. The week long visit went way too quickly though and I was sad to go to the airport last night. I only had to work two days while he was here so it worked out pretty well. We did a little bit of site-seeing, a little shopping and a lot of just hanging out. One of the highlights for me was I actually got him to wear a suit, not an easy task!
Information can be found on Minden at the following sites.
We leave on Saturday to meet Sam's family in Germany for the Stepping Stone installation. Should be an interesting trip. We are staying HERE. I know we are going to freeze coming from Kuwait so hopefully whatever heating system they have works!

So we got a cat last night, she is really cute and playful. She has explored every inch of our place from top to bottom. As you can see below she's hanging out on top of our kitchen cabinets. We also have these 8 foot tall bookshelves that she jumps on top of. It's a little scary!

Leo got in touch with the museum that was his father's home. They sent this picture from when the home still belonged to the Werberg family, notice the name on the building.
Leo was the first Werberg to visit their father's hometown since Hans left at age 7 in 1938.
