My brother Neil just came to visit. It was nice to have someone see our life here in Kuwait. The week long visit went way too quickly though and I was sad to go to the airport last night. I only had to work two days while he was here so it worked out pretty well. We did a little bit of site-seeing, a little shopping and a lot of just hanging out. One of the highlights for me was I actually got him to wear a suit, not an easy task!
Actually i would have to comment on the "Minden pictures", but since i don't know how it works i try is this way...
hi, my name is Anne Zaremba and i am from Minden, Germany. I am a 12th grader at the Ratsgymnasium in Minden and therefore have to prepare something like a term paper ("Facharbeit") for my history class. Since i am very interested in everything that deals with World War 2, i chose "Jewish families in Minden between 1939 and 1945" as my topic.
I've read many newspaper articles and books about this topic and found details about your husbands family. When i was searching on the internet i found his family's homepage (www.werberg.net) and searched for any way to contact his family and especially his father. since i could not find any way to contact your husband, I wanted to ask you for some more information. I think that you have also been to Germany in November (i've read the newspaper artivles about that), and it would be great if your family and especially your father-in-law could maybe send me some information or even pictures about his life in Minden during this period of time.
Since i have lived in the United States for the last year (I was an exchange student in Brooksville, Florida) it would be fine if these informations are in English.
If you have any more questions, just contact me through my e-mailadresse.
It would be great, if you could help me.
Thank you, Anne Zaremba
