Our cable service, which is also our cable modem Internet service, stopped working yesterday. A pox on TimeWarner, though it could have been just about anything. RCN also provides cable TV and Internet service in our area, I wonder if they kicked out our plug?
...to give me an ulcer? Three apparently. But all three of our computers are up and running now. So maybe soon I'll make all those wise comments and post those pictures I've been talking about.
The wife bought tickets to Game 1 of the World Series, dependent on the Yankees winning, of course. Personally, I think we're looking at Boston in 7, then the Cubs in 6. But don't hold me to that.

As most of you know, the lights went out last night, just about everywhere in the Nonrtheast. Manhattan was one big block party. We spent four hours driving from Chelsea, around 18th street, to the George Washington Bridge, around 177th street. Well, at least we weren't on the train...
