You know how really really bad things happen to genuinely good people? Well, clearly not enough people know that that is the law of the universe, because the universe decided it needed to set an example of someone to remind everyone of this immutable law. And I am that example...
I lost my hard drive this past weekend. No, it didn't fall out of my back pocket, and I didn't leave it in a taxi (though if I had, some kind taxi driver would surely have returned it to me and not even accepted the reward, like what always happens to famous violinists with their million dollar instruments.)
No, instead my hard drive decided to go on permanent vacation. Like John Ritter and Johnny Cash, my hard drive is a fond memory, one which I will cherish always. But it will only remain that, a memory.
So I probably won't be updating this much, and it'll be another couple weeks before I can post any of the pictures I've been meaning to post, of San Francisco and other recent events and trips.
I actually spent money on a legitimate version of Windows XP. Stay tuned, that just might work out. Probably won't though...
