I also just had my 1 month check-up, the stats are :
Weight: 9 lbs. 1 oz.
Height: 21.7 inches
Head: 14.5 inches
Mom and Dad wanted to wait until we got to Pittsburgh to put me in a bed, but I had to break free from the little cage they had me sleeping in. Although I actually liked it I was waking up a lot at night because it was just too small for me. I am feeling pretty proud to be in a bed, the first thing I noted was "it has no bars" My parents wonder how long it will take for me to realize that I can get out of the bed on my own! The best part is I have lots of room for the twenty friends I like to sleep with.
Dylan Thomas Werberg joined us today. Don't know all the stats but he is 7 pounds 6 ounces and of course we think absolutely adorable.
I had a great time at my "Little Gym" birthday party. Thanks to all my friends for coming and celebrating with me. Mom and Dad gave me a digital camera of my own and I took over 500 pictures at the party, as you can see I barely put it down once they gave it to me. Also, thanks to Chris for all the great photos!
Layer one is Mommy but layer two is all me.
(Emma, you should never forgive your Mom for leaving this puppy in Bangkok for me!)
And finally a hat I can actually wear! We are going to Sweden next week and it's only in the 60s there so Mom made me this hat so I don't freeze.
Mom isn't really trying to potty train me yet or anything crazy like that, but she did buy me some books that talk about it and one of those little miniature toilets you put in the bathroom. Today, as I often do, I touched the back of my diaper and said "poop" This usually is because I have a poop and mom checks it and then we have a little battle over the actual changing of the diaper. Today when I said that and she checked the diaper there was no poop. So she asked me if I had to go poop and wanted to sit on the potty because she was a little curious why I would say 'poop' when I didn't have one. So I ran toward the bathroom and she sat me on the potty. Then I pointed at her and said "Mommy pee-pee" which is my way of saying, Mom sit on the toilet too. The whole time she thought I was just going through the motions so when she lifted me up and saw that there was actually a poop in the toilet she was very surprised. And that's the story of my very first poop in the toilet.
Today in gym class I got bitten. You can see the 8 teeth marks on my arm.
Today I took a little spill out in the parking lot. I fell down a couple of stairs. I think I handled it much better than mommy, but it does hurt. I found that chewing on the Tylenol bottle and putting ice on my foot really helped. On the positive side a new toy got delivered today, a much needed distraction.
Mom is slacking, but here is a picture of me from a few days ago. Also notice that it is snack time and I'm in the process of making my sign for "More" that my friend Casey taught me while she was here.
I have two teeth now and this is what I do when my mom asks to see them.
Here are a couple of the shots that the photographer sent to me. I can't wait to see the rest!
While Mom is busy taking photos I'm finding ways to let her know that she should really start baby-proofing. It only takes me a second to find the choking hazards.
Also, notice my lastest trick which is to put my thumbs between my index and middle fingers.
I'm so happy that my highchair finally came and I can eat like a civilized human being!

It was a little make-shift since my highchair isn't here yet but I had fun anyway.

I just officially had my first successful roll from back to front. Now I just have to figure out how to get this thing out of my face.
My first tooth is coming in! Click on the picture for a larger image because it's a little hard to see.
Mom isn't very good at cutting my nails so I have my first injury.
I can move an object from one hand to the other.
I'm trying really hard these days to learn how to sit on my own. Actually at this point though my body folds almost in half when I try.
Yesterday I went to the Dr. I'm 12 pounds 7.5 ounces and 23 1/2 inches. I also got my first shots, I did great! I'm pretty tough as you can see...
Last night I ate at 8:15 pm, 2:30 and 6:00 am. This made Mom very happy even though she spent a lot of that time wide awake wondering when I was going to wake up.
I started smiling today. Some people might say it's gas but don't believe them.
Today I turned over from tummy to my back, not once but five times so it's legit! My parents also took me out on errands for the first time just to try it out. We went to Babies R Us and the grocery store. I slept the whole time just to make sure they take me out again.
This one didn't go as well as the one in the hospital!
